Assembly & Packing Role

Job Details:

£9.30 per hour – Part Time – Permanent – Monday to Friday, 25 hours, (flexibility between core hours) – Branded Uniform & PPE – Auto Enrolment Pension Scheme – 20 days holiday plus bank holidays pro rata AND the days between Christmas & New Year – Onsite Parking.

Role Details:

The main purpose of the Assembly & Packing Role is to build and pack filter elements to be used in equipment for oil filtration and coolant handling. Full training is provided.

Key duties include:

• To assemble filter elements within specified guidelines, packing and dispatching whilst maintaining a clean working environment at all times.
• Other duties as required

Person Specification:

The ideal Assembly & Packing Production Team Member will have:

• Previous experience is not necessary but previous experience of production work or working with your hands would be useful
• Demonstrate a conscientious, diligent and reliable attitude
• Be able to work as part of a team and individually
• Be able to undertake tasks in a timely manner
• Have a willingness to learn

Special Project Engineer

Job Details:

Full Time – Permanent – Branded Uniform & PPE – Auto Enrolment Pension Scheme – 20 days holiday plus bank holidays AND the days between Christmas & New Year – Onsite Parking.

Role Details:

Due to ongoing expansion, they now seek a Special Project Engineer to join their team. This is a new role that has been created to manage the installation and commissioning of bespoke oil filtration and coolant handling equipment at customer sites throughout the UK.

The role is primarily based from their Head Office in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, traveling to customer sites for installation as and when required. This could potentially involve the occasional stay over, depending on the location.

Key duties include:

• To be fully involved from design through to completion of special bespoke oil filtration and coolant handling equipment
• Carry out the build and testing of bespoke equipment including electrical and mechanical assembly
• Manage the installation and commissioning of bespoke equipment at customer sites throughout the UK, (potentially Europe)
• To be the Lead Engineer for special projects who has expert product knowledge
• Liaise with design, production, and sales departments
• Interpret electrical and schematic drawings
• Schedule, coordinate and monitor special projects
• Establish good relationships with customers
• Complete production records
• Highlight supplier and internal non – conformances
• Other duties as required

Person Specification:

The ideal Special Project Engineer will:

• Will ideally have experience in a similar role, i.e. Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Field Based Engineer
• Have mechanical and electrical engineering experience
• Be able to read electrical and schematic drawings
• Troubleshooting experience
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Quality-focused, able to use own initiative, and takes pride in a job
• Full driving licence essential.
• A pool van, tools, mobile, and laptop are supplied for carrying out the role.

Production Technician (This role is now filled)

Job Details:

£20,800 – Full Time – Permanent – Monday to Friday, 40hrs, (flexibility between core hours) – Branded Uniform & PPE – Auto Enrolment Pension Scheme – 20 days holiday plus bank holidays AND the days between Christmas & New Year – Onsite Parking.

Role Details:

The main purpose of the Electrical Mechanical Production Technician is to build parts for equipment that is used for oil filtration and coolant handling. Full training is provided.

Key duties include:

• Wire motors, pumps, units and sub-assemblies
• Build panels & panel wiring
• Fitting components
• Read electrical and schematic drawings
• PAT test products
• Test products
• Complete production records
• Highlight supplier and internal non-conformances
• Other duties as required

Person Specification:

The ideal Electrical Mechanical Production Technician will:

• Have some previous production/assembly experience
• Be able to demonstrate a degree of mechanical/electrical aptitude – i.e. use of hand tools/wiring
• Demonstrate a conscientious, diligent, and reliable attitude
• Be able to work as part of a team and individually
• Be able to undertake tasks in a timely manner
• Have a willingness to learn
