Fluid Service Technician

Based Knaresborough – Extensive travel within UK

Many of our customers are in the engineering manufacturing sector and use our specialist lubricating oils and equipment to maintain the quality of their products, machinery and tools. Environmental Technologies Group offers products and services second to none, that enable our customers to focus fully on their businesses and we take the headache of lubricant and equipment supply and maintenance away from them.

As one of our Service Technicians you’ll be in the front line of our relationships with those customers and will visit them on their premises across the country. What you do every day matters – cleaning out equipment, testing and recharging lubricant, recording key data (including customer feedback) and generally promoting our company and the value we add to each business that uses us. When not out in the field with customers, you’ll be working at our production site in Knaresborough alongside our equipment assembly and testing team – so you’ll always be up-to-date with the latest product developments and applications.

We like practical people who have acquired a knowledge and understanding of engineering matters – either through training or through hands-on experience. An apprenticeship or NVQ qualification in mechanical, electrical or plumbing skills would be great – but that’s not essential. What’s essential is that you have a strong customer-service orientation, are comfortable dealing with a wide range of people in the workplace, are determined and conscientious and enjoy diagnosing and solving problems on a daily basis. The other requirement is that you hold a full and current UK driving licence.

We’ll give you thorough on-the-job training, pay you a competitive salary and provide you with company uniform and everything else you need for the job.

If it sounds like a job that you’d like to do, please send your CV and covering letter to We will respond to all enquiries.
